Why people switch from calendar reminders
Passive notifications are easy to dismiss. Meeting Guardian gives you a meeting alert system built for people who keep missing meetings.
Meeting Alarms That Stay Active
Turn any meeting into a persistent in-tab alarm with importance levels and a two-minute snooze — a stronger reminder than a brief calendar banner.
Calendar Meeting Sync
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook and your meetings show up automatically — no manual entry. Your meeting alarm stays in sync with schedule changes.
Alert Me Before Meetings Start
Choose how early you're alerted — at start time or up to 30 minutes before. A configurable meeting reminder so you're never caught off guard.
How it works
Set up in minutes. Start with manual meetings or connect Google Calendar or Outlook for automatic sync.

Frequently asked questions
- What is Meeting Guardian?
- Meeting Guardian is a browser meeting alarm app that turns passive calendar reminders into active in-tab alarms. Add meetings manually or sync from Google Calendar or Outlook, set importance levels, and get alerted before each meeting starts.
- How is this different from Google Calendar reminders?
- Google Calendar sends a one-time notification that's easy to dismiss and forget. Meeting Guardian uses persistent alarms with snooze, importance levels, and optional early alerts — so critical meetings stay on your radar until you act.
- Do I need to connect a calendar?
- No. You can add meetings manually and use all alarm features without connecting a calendar. Google Calendar and Outlook sync are optional and let your meetings import automatically.
- Does it work on desktop and mobile?
- Meeting Guardian has a responsive web interface, but alarm audio and browser notifications vary by browser and device. For the most reliable workflow, use a supported desktop browser, keep the tab open, and test permissions before an important meeting.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. The free plan includes manual meetings, full alarm features, and one calendar connection with manual sync. Pro adds automatic sync and up to five calendar connections across Google and Outlook.
- How early can I get alerted before a meeting?
- You can choose to be alerted at the meeting start time or up to 30 minutes before. Set your preferred lead time in Settings under Notifications.
- Do I need to keep a browser tab open?
- Yes. Alarms fire while a Meeting Guardian tab is open in your browser — even if the tab is in the background. We don't use invasive background tracking or closed-tab notifications.
- Is my calendar data safe?
- We use read-only calendar access and never edit your events. Calendar data is used only to display meetings and trigger alarms inside Meeting Guardian. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
